This game is a 3rd person RPG with rich lore. Mass Effect 3 intertwines good stories, and action, at a very nice pace. Right out of the gate you’ll be hit by a FOV of 70 that feels very wrong. You can change it with 3rd party software but it will mess the cut scenes a little, a price that is well worth in my opinion. The game has very good DLC that is not exactly easy to buy, it rarely goes on discounts, and worst of all, some of it is very important to the main story. The pew-pew shooty-shooty part is heavily based on cover. While in cover you are very hard to hit, and general movement is a bit clunky because the character keeps trying to get cover as soon as it gets near it; and the levels are full of such places. Squad mates AI is pretty average but at least you have decent control over them. "Insanity" is the highest difficulty setting, and the only places where I really had problems were in the DLCs and at the end of the game. I played as an "Infiltrator" (the character possess a cloaking field giving it an advantage in many situations) but I'm not sure I would feel the same about the difficulty level if I played any other class. I liked that you can get a lot of quests just by overhearing conversations which felt much better than having a dialogue with a lot of boring NPCs.
