Story:

After the death of his mother Ishwari, Ajay Ghale returns to his home country of Kyrat to carry out Ishwari's final wish by scattering her ashes in a place called Lakshmana. However, his mission is interrupted when the bus he was traveling on is attacked by the Royal Army and he is taken prisoner by Pagan Min, the country's eccentric and violent king who claims to have been romantically involved with Ishwari. After finding his way through Pagan's mansion, Ajay escapes with the aid of Sabal, a commander in the Golden Path, a rebel movement established by Ajay's father, Mohan Ghale. Ajay is not able to leave the country as the royal army have taken control of the country's only airport and sealed the borders, leaving Ajay trapped in the country.

Far Cry 4 is a duller, more annoying Far Cry 3, even the radio towers were cooler in FC3. The protagonist is a silent one, so that the public identifies more easily with the main character, something that I liked, and it worked well with the game.

SPOILER: In the beginning you can choose not to escape (this is an alternate ending). If you are like me, and immerse yourself in the game universe, and really "live" the game, it can make for an interesting experience as all sorts of thoughts will run through your head.

Pros: frequent option for stealth, RPG elements.

Cons: eagles that will frequently swoop down from the sky.

Rating: every time you play Far Cry 4, in real life an eagle appears outside your house, ready to eat your face.

Recommendation: if you really need more of that Far Cry 3 stuff.
